Live where you want, with the right level of support to make independence a daily reality — in a safe, comfortable home that is truly yours.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) provides funded support for participants who live in shared or individual accommodation and require assistance with daily tasks, personal care, and home management — while maintaining maximum independence and choice.
Our SIL model is built around you. We work with you and your family to find the right home, the right housemates (if applicable), and the right level of support so that you can genuinely live the life you choose.
Live with compatible housemates in a staffed home, sharing support costs while maintaining your own bedroom, privacy, and daily routine.
Live alone in your own home with scheduled support visits — morning routines, evening wind-down, and any other assistance you need.
Around-the-clock staffing for participants with complex support needs, including active overnight support and emergency response.
Support focused on developing independence skills — cooking, budgeting, home maintenance, self-care — so you can do more for yourself over time.
Assistance with keeping your home clean, safe, and comfortable — including minor repairs, garden care, and home organisation.
Support to maintain relationships, access the community, and stay connected with family, friends, and the activities you love.
SIL is funded under the Core Supports budget in your NDIS plan (Assistance with Daily Life, 01). The NDIA separately funds SIL through a special quote process.
SIL is one of the most significant steps toward greater independence. Our team will guide you through every stage of the process.
